Comparing cameras and lenses before you purchase is always a smart idea. Here are some of the sites I use to learn more about lenses and cameras before I buy them.
Sites I Like to Use (randomly listed)
- Digital Camera Database | Compare cameras against each other. See their specifications and learn which specifications are truly important.
- DxO Mark | Detailed camera sensor and lens testing set this site apart from all the others.
- Ken Rockwell | This photographer not only provides honest and well-thought out reviews, but gives great practical advice for getting great photos.
- The Digital Picture | Excellent reviews and recommendations.
- SLR Gear | Quick and good lens reviews. (A part of Imaging Resource .)
- Camera Decision | Take the worry out of making that decision whether to upgrade.
- DPReview | Last here but certainly not least and often my first stop, DPReview reviews all of the gear out there with impeccable skill.
Note: These are not affiliate links and I do not have a bias from endorsement or anything of the kind. I just like these sites.
