Another Example: Sunset Time-Lapse – GoPro Still Image Conversion Method Using Only GoPro Studio
This is a time-lapse video of the sunset as taken from my front yard using my GoPro camera, same as the previous one [click here to see it], but this one I make without using Panolapse. I only used GoPro Studio. So, there is no motion shown. Which do you like better?
More About This Video and a Question for You
You can read how I made this video in my previous post, and all that is different is that the Panolapse portion where motion is added, is left out. I used only the files made by the GoPro camera.
It was a lot faster to make this one than the previous one, but this one lacks the motion, and exposure blending that Panolapse and its RAWBlend tool bring to the video.
Compare and Decide
Below are the two videos – one with and one without motion of the camera. Which do you prefer?

I created the soundtrack also and mixed it with the video using GoPro Studio. Here below is a copy of it you can play from my SoundCloud page.
I would really like to know what you think and if you prefer motion (of the camera) or not in time-lapse videos.
I’ll have more on video and time-lapse in future posts. In the meantime, you can follow me and my videos on my Vimeo page at http://vimeo.com/larslentz.
Thank you for reading what I wrote — I hope you enjoyed it!
