People ask “How did you do that?” They are asking about my photos and how I got them to look the way they do. I can break it down into just two categories:
- Practice – I practice my craft relentlessly. If I’m not taking a photo, then I am fixing a photo, almost every day.
- Study – I am always reading about new techniques, new software, and studying how other do what I want to do.
That is really all there is to it. On this blog I have given away almost all of my secrets, and if you wanted to make the same photos as I do, then you would think that all you have to do is read about how I did it and then do it yourself.
Nope. It is more than that. Like everything else in life, you have to study and practice.
